Trying Hard

What a way to welcome the month of July. I feel like taking pictures of myself (like a lot, if you're following me on my Instagram) for the past few days. I don't know what have gotten into me, but I guess boredom have does this to me. This. Is. Not. Me

I've been hating myself for Facebook-ing & Instagram-ing too much stuff (again, This. Is. Not. Me). I want to quit this but something just whispers and push me to do it. I need work to keep myself busy.

Crowning Glory

They say "hair is a girl's crowning glory" and I know most of us (women) believe with that phrase. I do, too. 
FUN FACT(actually it's not fun for me): I have long hair with a shorter height. Sad but true.

December last year, when I decided to change something with my hair.. something like to have it Ombré. It was supposedly my preparation for 2013 but I got scared because it will be my first time to put some color on it. But now, I don't have any regrets about it, and for the first time, I'm loving my hair. *wink

I can't find the right words to describe how happy I am having this long hair I've been wanting since forever! 

However, sometimes I'm thinking of making myself bald because it's so hot here in the Philippines, maybe I should leave the country? Pun intended. 

By the way, I am wearing a mid rib top I made out of an old shirt because I tried making a bandeau out of it but I ended not using it over the summer. 

Believe it or not, my high waist short cost only 25 pesos on a thrift store. Amazeballs. It's kinda loose for my waist. Oops I'm thinking maybe I'm really losing some fatty fats. Nuh-uh!! I'm overwhelming myself, I guess.

So how's first week of school everyone?

Beachin' 101

It's funny how confident I am to show off my body even if it isn't that considerably fit. Yes I am aware of that and I'm still working my ass so hard at it. :)

Nevertheless, SoAn people and I had a fun Island Hopping yesterday to celebrate one of our friends' birthday. As what we expected, we enjoy every bits and pieces of it. 

Big waves and mild storms welcomed us as we took off but God loves us, the rain didn't last too long. It stopped as we reached Pandanon Island. I enjoyed diving with thousand of itsy bitsy jelly fishes and watched those sea urchins and corals underwater. I was a bit scared of how deep it was but heey! I CAN SWIM ALREADY!!! We were all surprise that we almost brought our lazy ass near a resort in Bohol. How far did we get?

Summer is over, and it's back to school already. I can't believe I'm saying that phrase. Still have to cover a lot of ground for our thesis. Oh well, still thankful for having enough time to ramble around the city and discover places I've never been.

I don't know if I should apologize to say something like this, like...... the truth.

Hot Days Of Summer

 

... One day, I decided to try one of my long dress in a getaway. Surprisingly, it's stylish yet comfy to wear. And one thing, I was trying to protect my legs from too much darkening. Hihihihihihihi

"Burning hot".. This is how most people in the Philippines describe the summer weather. I'm sure everyone of us is sharing the same problem, but you guys should understand that it is summer and enjoy the sun while you can! :)

 

 I ate when I said, I won't be wearing any of these. I don't know where the hell I'm getting the confidence but I'm loving it.

 Gracias Abril for all the memories. Gone into 3 different places (Bogo/San Remegio, Asturias and Caibiran) within one month. No regrets, it's all worthwhile especially spending it with the love your life. Thanks for making every bit of the trip special, Mi Amor! You're the sweetest!! ♥ ♥

Four-Five hrs of travel paid off after seeing the beautiful scenery of each place. It's like looking a photo come alive right in front of me. Beaches, forests and landscapes are all it takes to mesmerize these eyes of mine.

Long boarding, Swimming and Biking. The three things I've been dying to learn, fortunately I learned all of them. :) This is quite a month for me. Now, help me since I become 10x darker than the usual. Shiznit! But, it's still worth it. I'm loving my tan lines. :) :) :) ;) ;)

Jah night, indeed! The Outpost bar is one of the best place to chill here in Cebu. The feeling of being "at home" is the best thing about The Outpost. After closing for a few months, The Outpost is back with the big bang! Last Saturday, I attended to one of the most memorable history that has happened to The New Outpost! 

I wasn't able to attend to their grand re-opening last December because I was too busy, but as soon as I knew that The Outpost is bringing back Franco in Cebu, I marked my calendar and reserved the day! The last time I knew that Franco visits Cebu is when Urbandub performed to our school, I was first year college way back then. The band didn't create its name yet.

The happy news is 'The Ambassadors' is part of this rare event of The Outpost. It was my first time to see the band performing live! I truly love them since I was in high school! Sadly, The Ambassadors will stop creating new musics due to their own reasons but they will still perform their old songs. :( I thanked Mon Amour for influencing me with their musics! :)

Unfortunately my ass was too lazy to bring my camera with me so I dint have any pictures to capture this hardcore history! :(

Anyway, I grabbed some photos from "The Outpost" twitter so that you guys can picture out what did the event looks like! 

Though Franco is kinda bit oldie, I always find him a hottie! His body is really in a good shape! He's so buff, I'm gonna die!

I knew Franco since I was in first year college but I just knew 3 of their songs which are: The Gathering, Seasons, and Castaway and I don't even memorized all of them. I just know some few lines, but when I saw them performed live.... I became an instant fan! You guys should check their music cos I just downloaded half of their songs!

What Difference Does It Make?

Starting the year right and with a big big big big bang! Woah, hello there lovely blog. It's been a long time since the last time I post something. Ooooh, how I miss you and how good it feels to be pressing this keyboard back! :) I know it's kinda late but since the month of love is just starting, let me wrap how my 2012 was and how I'm starting the year. :) 

Over the sem break something heart bursting happened. This little girl fell in love with the same man, twice! Yes, you read that right. He was my first love, way back high school we've been together for 2 years  and after 3 years of being apart, we were back on each others' arms again. It was a rough road for us to take at first but we are both happy now that we surpass every trials we had. My Mon Amour, i love you to bits and pieces. ❤❤

Before ending 2012 me and his familia went to Moalboal. It was an overwhelming experience since it was my first time to spend some time to my man's family. It was a fun 2 days and 1 night. Talking ghost stories that turn out to be a funny one. Diving and seeing beautiful corals under the sea, though it was scary thing for me, but the best part of it was the time we spent, I really had a good time!! :)

Celebrated the 2013 with a big boooom! It was a special one since Mon Amour and friends came over to our place and celebrated the New Year with me and my family! That was a full-of-laughter kind of day! I think we just started the year right! :)

Guess who just turned 20-teen this year? Me!! I feel so old but I never gain even an inch of height! Someone help we this problem, I'm too desperate to grow a little bit taller. I'm so tired of being mistaken as a high school student. I don't think it's a good thing anymore! Tihihihihihi.

Anyway, celebrated my 20-teen birthday at Lantaw. The nice ambiance is enough to spend it with my family and friends and have some chit-chatting, because with the hectic schedule we have we really need to catch up! :)

Prititiiiiit!! Viva Pit Senyor, Sto Nino!!!! That was a hella fun Sinulog day with my new friends! Painting each other, unlimited drinks, and non-stop laughter is more than enough to celebrate it. Sinulog is about "the more you get dirty the more you had fun" and I was very, very, very (well, obviously) dirty!! It was a lot more fun since it was the first Sinulog me and Mi Amor spent together. It was both our first time to spent it with each other. That sh*t felt good. Actually, it was a 2 day celebration for me. 

The day before, Mon Amour brought me to a gig called the SRA Anniversary. He attends to it yearly cos he always loves to do the mosh pit thing and ever since I always wanted to try it. Finally I got the chance to witness it live and be a part of it this month. It was a cool and a one of a kind gig!! Even if it involves the possibility of physically getting hurt and hurting someone because of its wild moves, it was still fun since the people there will really helped others who fell down. It was awesome and the people were too awesome to be called awesome!

As we end the Month of January we had our batch Retreat! It was a good thing to be back with God before embracing February. It was also fun in our creepy room with my roomies, talking random topics, visiting our classmates rooms and taking bunches of pictures was all it takes. It was also a rough retreat for me since I cried so hard because most of the videos shown was about "Daddy" stories. I miss my Dad so bad that's why I'm too affected when it comes to "Father and Son" or "Father and Daughter" story and video clips.

I'm not even done with it yet, if I could get the chance to blog all about it, it will end up as a book. Hahahaha! Ending the month with lots and lots of memories to cherish is a great thing to be thankful of. I just realize that I have many people to thanked. Still have to update this one since I still have to post the last thing why my month is happy! I have to go, still have to catch something. Heads up people! It's good to be back!

Gold On The Ceiling

There I am wearing one of my fave top expecting to have a "happy" picture but I don't know why I'm making a sad face. Fail, I know. Anyhoo, this picture was taken from a beautiful street here in Cebu. I admired and fell in love with how the place looks, it's so lovely that I really took a picture of myself. Sorry for being so vain. :)

On the other hand, Cebu experienced a 9.7 magnitude earthquake. For the second time around, I DINT FEEL IT. How numb am I? A big 'K' for that. Please prepare yourselves people, cos I heard on the news last night declaring a tsunami alert and it's been raining all day. Please be safe and pray everyone.

The best advice I got today! Being stressed from school today since we are required to cover some events on our Intramurals for our Journalism class. We were given a special ID for special seats (I wish they were literally special, but unfortunately it wasn't) that makes me feel like a "REAL" media press. That felt good and it was a great experience as well. :)

Anyhoo, being happy with my 2k views. I dint see that coming! :) A big thanks to you, my astonishing lovely readers/visitors! Guhiguma ta mo! (That's the bisaya for I love you all!) You're making me happy every single day! Thank yooou!! :)

Chasing Cars

Bringing back all the childhood memories while riding on this cutie lion (I wish it was a horse, it would've been more cute) carousel. As a 90's kid, the carousel is a big part of my childhood and for sure you can relate to what I'm feeling. Chyeah! :) 

So far, this year and the past few months have been bringing a big BANG in me! I've come up trumps and having the time of my life. Let me share that I've been a part of a mountaineering organization, and I didn't expect that I could complete the whole thing. Proud little girl here, and others are considered to be another rock&roll history that I would forever cherish! :)

I'll be having a long weekend since our intramurals will start this Wednesday, but I can't escape academic stuffs :( I still have to cover some event!

Finally, got the chance to lay my fingers again on my lovely blog after almost a month? And I feel like I missed too much for not being that active. Don't worry! I have a good news for all of you! Hopefully, if I could find time to post something over the weekend. Been busy since we just started working on our thesis and I've been working for something. I'm looking forward for it already. :)

Stress? Or Should I Call It THESIS?

Say Hi to my messy room with the nerdy lady over here. Yeah I know I look stressed, weird and nerd. Two weeks ago, classes had just started. Unfortunately, our first two weeks felt like finals already. Left and right assignments, activities and all those school stuffs. 

I am not surprised with all of these. Since day one of summer I was already expecting that this would be the busiest year of my life. That's why I indulge myself rambling anywhere, sleepovers and all those sleepless nights with friends! 

I am happy that my Mum didn't restrict me from doing all of those cos she knows I'll be doing the ever hardcore requirement of my course... our *with a creepy effect voice* THESIS PAPER. Surely, I'll be missing all of that. :( Today, we just proposed our thesis topic. Hoping it would be approved, with a tight finger crossed! Wish us luck. :)

I look like a --- moron! Hahaha. Kiddin', I don't know why I did that pose. Maybe, I just want to say that no matter how stress school days are, just face it with a big smile... but why am I doing a wacky pose there? FAIL!! Hahaha. 

Just don't pressure yourself just because of those numerous exams and assignments. That's part of practicing yourself for the bigger world outside of the school. You will have more of that after you graduate and when you are working already. It's just the start of living in the world of reality. 

So it's better to train yourself while its early. Just have fun while studying. Don't just drown yourself with books, go out if you like. Just learn to know what your priorities and balance your time! Don't stress yourself because of school, enjoy it instead of ranting yourself to death! :) Heads up!

Long Board Chicks

Days from now, summer will end and it's school days already. I could say that the best part of my summer was learning how to play the long board! I think I post something that I really want to learned either a skate or a long board. Finally, I got the chance to learn it yesterday! Me, and 3 of my friends (Juvi, Mara, and Darlene) went to Naga to try this thing. 

At first I was kinda scared, cos I can't control the board. But with Kaye Abad ( Mara's long board, YES! It has a name!) and Mara's patience, I learned how to long board. Riding with it makes me feel like I'm one of those cool, hot and sexy girls on tumblr. For now, I just learned the basic but I fell in love with it already. And I'm planning to buy my own long board sooner! I'm so happy that I just did two of the things I promise to learn. First is learning how to bike and the second is this one, long board. 

After our long board moments, we went to a burger party with Mara's friends and met new people there! So here's some pictures of us yesterday!

Classes is fast approaching (but lower levels are already starting their class) and me is not yet ready! Last Wednesday I went to school to enroll myself and still can't believe that I'm already a 4th year student this year! Despite of my year level, most people I just met always thought that I was 14 or 16 yrs old. That sounds so funny, and I take that  as a compliment! :)

 Anyways, should I say goodbye Summer 2012? I haven't indulged myself with summer days yet. I want an extension!! Kiddin'. I'm still looking forward to last minute summer bonds with friends, hopefully! And I dint know that Watching The Parent Trap would be part of my Sleepless Summer Nights! 

I just watched it, and it's already 05:12 am in my watch! Hi Insomnia!! :) I'm already getting ready for my thesis which I'll be starting this year. Wish me luck! I hope you enjoyed your Summer just like me! :)

Just got my ass back in our lovely abode after staying at my best friend's place for 3 days and 3 nights! It was fun! Eating burgers for midnight snacks, laughing so hard til' our tummy aches before lights off and making our own music video of The Lazy Song, Starships and Call Me Maybe. Where I did almost all the weirdest things I could ever do to myself. Hahaha! 

This is one of the best 3days of my summer.  Hopefully next week, we will visit our other friend. I can't wait! Hoping you are doing great during your summer breaks! It's starting raining like cats and dogs, be sure to have fun before our classes officially start! :)
